Österlens Golf Club is situated 6 km north along the coast from the town of Simrishamn and near the small fishing village of Vik. Set in beautiful surroundings you’ll find two excellent 18-hole courses, both with their own individual character and style. Together with a 6 hole par-3 course Österlens Golf Club gives members and guests good access at all times. The mild climate in this part of Sweden allows play on high quality greens all year round, making the courses at Österlen popular with all Scandinavian golfers.

The Lilla Vik (Little Bay) course
The Lilla Vik course is a parkland course with a nice seaside touch. Four of the holes run along the coast just above the Baltic Sea, giving you wonderful views as well as a tough challenge due to the sometimes gusty sea breeze. The Lilla Vik course is par 72,

The Djupadal (Deep Valley) Masters course
The Djupadal course is a more challenging, rather hilly, heathland style course. From the highest points you have magnificent views over the Baltic Sea, and the valley is speckled with old apple trees. This championship course offers a great test of golf in a spectacular setting.

A brief history
Österlens Golf Club was founded in 1945, when 6 holes were built just above the coast at Lilla Vik. Six years later another 3 holes were built, and in 1979 the full 18 hole course of today was completed. To meet the increasing amount of golfers in Sweden the Djupadal course was built in 2001. The Club has also invested in practice and service facilities, and since May 2008 a new club house has been welcoming guests and members at Djupadal.
